Cars All Look Alike

At least back in the day the cars all had personalities. The cars of the 1950-2 and 1960-s all had style. You need a Ford from a Chevy just from looking at the grill or the fins. You knew that a car was hot and expensive from the style, the accessories, the whole package. Now all the cars look alike. You can barely tell what maker is producing them and the colors are either white, black or tan and a handful of red ones. Its so hard to find hot new colors and anything with flash. We need to spiff up the cars and put out some good stuff. People don’t want boring cars.

Best Burgers

When I want a hamburger, I can’t stand the idea of another McDonald’s burger. I’m sick of the burgers at Burger King, too. So that leaves Wendy’s or Hardees, or maybe Jack in the Box. If that’s all I have to pick from, I’ll go with Jack in the Box any day. Their sirloin burgers rock! But I have an ace in the hole. The best tasting burgers in this town are at Backyard Burgers – it’s worth going out of my way or driving an extra 10 minutes to skip the other chains and find a Backyard Burger for lunch.

Bad Food

The number one trending search term on Yahoo this morning was for “deadly cucumbers.” At first I thought hat would be a joke. What could possibly be deadly about cucumbers? If you buy them at the sto and scrub them when you get home, there should not be anything poisonous about a cucumber that you slice up and put on a salad. I do it all the time.

Then I saw another headline about cucumbers have killed 16 people and made more than 1,150 people sick in at least eight European nations. The worst hit was Germany, followed by Sweden. There have not been any cases reported in the U.S.

Many people are looking suspiciously at the farms in Spain who exported the cucumbers. But evidently tests by health officials at the various farms in Spain have not revealed any contamination there. So it is still a mystery about where the contamination occurred and therefore they do not know how to stop it.

Name a Good Beer

Hardly ever buy beer, but I have a recipe for brisket that calls for it. This recipe comes with really good recommendation, so I’m going to follow the instructions exactly. It says to add one bottle of beer. So I have to go to the store and buy something. Any suggestions?

Hot Dog

I just don’t know what it is about hot dogs, but I don’t t like to buy hot dogs and the rolls to make at home, they just don’t ever taste the way that they should. I have tried cooking them several different ways and they always come out tasting nasty, and I can’t get but a few bites down.

On the other hand I do enjoy eating a hot dog at a baseball or football game, and we have a drive through Hot Dog stand here in town, that makes a delicious chili & cheese hot dog that I enjoy eating once in a while.

I like drive throughs, any kind of drive through makes me a happy camper. I like driving up and placing my order, then handing over the money and having them give me what ever it is that I have ordered and they give it to me right in the privacy of my own vehicle. No need to find a parking place, no walking or standing in lines with people that smell, talk loudly, stare at you and basically get on my last nerve. And the kids that are running around screaming and out of control, well we don’t want to go there right now, that issue I’ll save for another time.

Pizza, Gotta Love It

I’ve noticed that I have become down right picky when it comes to my pizza these days. If it isn’t Dominoes – with their thin crust with extra pepperoni – then I’m just not happy. I can’t stand a soggy thick crust that is all mushy in my mouth, just the texture of it makes my stomach queasy. So Pizza Hut and Papa Johns just don’t cut it, in my book.

It’s pretty cool that the pizza wars are a raging between the big pizza delivery companies and the prices are finally beginning to drop to a decent price. I mean jeez it used to be that pizza was not only a fast meal but a cheap one that you could get delivered right to your door, but the prices have sky rocketed the past few decades and I’ve been waiting for good quality pizza to become more affordable. All good things come to those who wait or so I’ve been told!

I Need A Decent House Phone

I hate my home phone. I received this set of phones for a Christmas gift last year and have had to put up with such nonsense for almost a year now. I plan on looking for a new set to purchase when the holiday sales start coming around and I can find one at a good price, most likely found on the Internet. Lord knows I can’t stand shopping with all of the other holiday shoppers and online shopping is the way to go for me these days.

I don’t use my home phone that often, but when I do I want the best and this set just isn’t doing the trick for me.

$209 million versus $42.9 million

These $209 million dollars are the value of fireworks imported from China in 2009, representing the bulk of all U.S. fireworks imported. By comparison, the U.s. exported $42.9 in fireworks. – The United Arab Emirates bought more than any other country: $14.5 million.

I also found out the you can buy a flag that’s been flown over the Capitol. You only need to make a request through your senator or representative. A Certificate of Authenticity is issued by the Architect of the Capitol with each flag flown. Prices range from $13.25 up to $22.55, plus shipping and handling of course. Not a bad price for a flag, that is something that I want to check into and see about purchasing one.

These are just some of the facts that I’ve been reading about the 4th of July, Independence Day that we here in America celebrate each year.

Christmas

Can you believe that they are all ready starting to put Christmas items for the up and coming holiday season? It is still summer for goodness sake. Soon they will all be playing Christmas music, arg……I’m thinking that the stores are really freaking out about the economy issues that aren’t lightening up any time soon and how it will affect sales again this year so they are going squeeze what they can and when they can out of us all.

Last year Wal-Mart was basically the only one that made a decent profit for the 2009 Christmas/Hanukkah gift giving season. I know that I’m cutting back big time. I’m not even going to send out any Christmas cards. Stamps are at 42 cents a piece now and that is just crazy. Online Christmas are the way to go this year, I can tell you that.

For awhile now I have been using this sex cam service to have a fun time on the weekends with friends! When buying anything adult oriented I always like to shop online like for my adult movies and toys and what have you. The reason being is that going to the local store always freaks me out a bit. Everyone in the store is there for the same reason you are if not something worse, there are always bums in the parking lots asking for change and walking up to you.

And of course the prices these places charge is outragous sometimes. So shopping online I can find the cheapest price and a Fed Ex or UPS man deliver it to my door or I download them instantly to my computer. Think about using the place I use the next time you shop online for your adult products!
