Its also the weekend for eggs. I know that the store puts eggs on sale because it is Easter and everyone wants to hard boiled the eggs and do the egg dye thing. I don’t see why they make the eggs cheap this week. Why not hike the hell out of the price and make the extra profit? you KNOW all the fuckers are going to be buying eggs – so make the money while you can.

I sent a couple of emails to the SyFy channel letting them know of my displeasure. They need to come up with something a little better than the crap they are showing right now. Can you believe they have Wrestling on Friday nights? I may be a guy but I hate that fake as fuck wrestling shit and it’s not even science fiction. They play it every Friday though and I end up with nothing to watch that I really like. Most of the reality shows are utter crap as well. Only a few have piqued my interest. Logging wars and such like that are okay, but the rest blow completely.

The truck is an old Chevy step side. The body is in amazingly good shape and will only need minor repair before I have it painted. That will be last though as I have a lot of mechanical work to do to it first. I have already ordered the lift and suspension kit for it and will pull the motor this weekend. I am rebuilding it from the bottom up to make sure it is exactly the way I want it. I am rebuilding the tranny as well and replacing the transfer case. I don’t think it will take me more than two months to do though.

I wish it had happened in time for Bike Week in Daytona, because then I would be going there, but I wasn’t that lucky this year. No matter, I know I will have a lot of fun and get some peace and quiet by myself. There are some restaurants in Myrtle Beach that I hope are still there. Benihana’s Japanese Steak House and Japanese Cuisine are two of my favorites as well as a little seafood place down south of the beach. I can’t wait to get there. I have already packed my saddle bags with everything I will need for the trip. I cannot wait to get going.

When your tooth hurts, nothing goes right. A toothache never goes the fuck away by itself. You’ve gotta haul your ass down to the dentist and fork over way too much cash money to make the pain stop.

When I see the dentist this afternoon I’m going to make him give me some of that laughing gas shit so I don’t feel anything at all. I can’t deal with sitting in a dentist chair, but this toothache has got to go.

Have you met the floor? I got memories, let me tell you. Ever heard the saying, “One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, Floor”? LMAO – yep – been there.

I never take dates there because of it either. I prefer to make this a place where I only go by myself or with the guys. It works out better for me that way. Damn, I can already taste that porterhouse now and the loaded baked potato as well. I cannot wait till 5 o’clock to get here. You know, I just might take in a movie while I am out tonight. There are a couple of really good ones in the theater right now that I really want to see.

It is a lot of fun and we know just about everyone who goes. We have lived here all of our lives after all. We have dated just about all of the chicks that hang out in the fucking place too. As you can tell by my lack of a wife, I haven’t met one worth marrying yet. Maybe one day, but I doubt I meet her at the Tavern. Doesn’t matter though as I am in no hurry to settle down with a family anyway. Even my parents hang out with us there from time to time, since mom used to work there long ago.

It is a good thing I can fix most of this by my self, be cause it would cost me over twelve hundred dollars if someone else did it. I am lucky my father taught my brothers and I how to work on our own vehicles. He is an amazing man who really took the time to teach us how to be men. I will probably call him to help me with this just so I can spend some time with him while we do it. I know he will be happy to come over and help out. Well I am off to the auto parts store to get everything I need to fix it.

I got all of the Lethal Weapon movies, as well as the Alien vs Predator movies.  I prefer action and sci-fi movies myself. I think I will spend this weekend vegging out in front of the TV watching these movies and pigging out on popcorn and shit. Maybe I will invite my brother over to hang out. I have a pool table as well, so we will probably work on our pool games too. We can have a guy weekend and just hang out. We can also invite a few of the other guys to play poker tomorrow night and rake in some cash. I always win when we play poker.

I am glad that spring is almost here, because it is almost fishing season too. I love to fish and plan on spending a lot of time on the river this year. Last year I caught a really big catfish that surprised even me in it’s size. He weighed over seventy five pounds and was almost six feet long. Way to go me ! Fortunately I have pictures to prove my big fish story or no  one would believe it. I think it is time to plan my weekend. What to do? Watch Nascar? Or go fishing? hmmmm

I was thinking of having either a BBQ or just ordering some pizza. I am leaning more towards the pizza so I can concentrate on the game, but as I really don’t care who wins it is not imperative that I not miss a thing. I don’t have a big screen TV though, so I was thinking maybe I could rent one for a week or so. Rent a center has them right now with very good deals. I will think more about it before I make a commitment though. Have a great day.
