Tiny reflections on life

Keeping in Touch

Found someone on LinkedIn that I used to work with. It looks like she still lives in the same place and still works for the same company. It’s a shame we haven’t done a better job of keeping in touch. I guess since I moved on we just don’t have that much in common any more. Even so, it’s nice to come across old friends and see how they are doing.

Pumpkin Spices

Never have been a big fan of pumpkin pie. It is too mushy for me. But I sure do love the smell of all those pumpkin pie spices that fill the house while the pie is baking. I could just bake the pies and give them away. Or maybe I should go to the store and find some Glade candles that smell like pumpkin pie.

Raked 8 bags of Leaves

There are so many trees in my neighbors yard that we have to battle with fallen leaves for months, Turns out that the regular trash people will only take 2 bags of leaves every week when they pick up our normal trash. Well, today I raked up 8 bags – so that’s a month of weekly pickups right there. And that was only the front yard. The side yard is twice as big as my front yard and it has twice as many leaves – if not more. This is going to be a long autumn of raking and dragging leaves to the curb.

Worried About My Friend Tiffany

knots

There is definitely something wrong going on with Tiffany. She has gotten so negative about everything you cannot even carry a convo with her. I wonder why she is so down on everything? Maybe this will bring a spark back to her eyes.

Party Weekend

This weekend is the holiday weekend all the kids in grownup skin have been waiting for. I think adults are more excited about Halloween this year than there are kids. Some of my friends have spent more than $100 on elaborate costumes. I haven’t even figured out what I want to be.
